I am so excited that you will be reading Elephant Run, it is a great book. One of the first things I would like you to do is get some background knowledge about Burma.

I found many other facts like the government type witch is Military Junta.The major religions was one of my favorite facts because it told it by per sent.Buddist (89)% ,Christan (04)per sent , an Muslum also (04)per sent. Burmas war. It took two years to conquer the Burmese lost over 20,000 men.

I found a way to memorize their president Thein Sein. Look at the last three letters in first and last name.
